What is Jog on Dementia?

It's a marathon challenge with a twist bought to you by Alzheimer's Society. Jog, walk or run 26.2 miles in a month and raise £100 to help beat dementia.

You can complete the challenge in 4 hours, 4 days or 4 weeks, it's totally up to you! The finish time doesn’t matter. It’s about raising money to help change lives.

Record your miles on your fundraising page to keep your friends and family up to date with your challenge. If you use Strava you can even link your app to track your miles automatically.

Alzheimer’s Society and dementia

20 people develop dementia every hour. By 2021, one million will be living with it. Dementia doesn’t discriminate, it hits families hard and currently there’s no cure. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer’s Society is here for everyone affected by dementia. Wherever they are, whatever they’re going through.

As the UK’s leading dementia charity, we work tirelessly to improve treatment and support. We’re creating a more dementia-friendly society so that people with dementia can live free of fear and prejudice. Through our ground-breaking research, we can and we will find a cure. Let’s take on dementia, together. Unite with us to fight dementia. And win.
